Ugh-problematic. I had to go pay a bill this morning, and I was forced to use the bike because of lack of public transport. The good news-no hill climbing.
Unfortunately, I sprained my calf muscle on the way back home. Ah well-I had little choice. Bill collectors don't care about your problems. And I have to
head out soon with my mom to take her to the dentist. She has to get some teeth pulled. She's getting prepped for dentures.
When I get back, I have a new double-portrait to begin work on-I've done a tiny bit of work already.
How are your knees?? A few years back I had knee/foot problems and walked like an old lady too. I also wondered if it was old age. We're about the same age
btw. But my job involved a lot of walking and steps for over 10 years (I'm a letter carrier) and now I have a route that's mostly driving and I feel
great!! People think all that physical activity is healthy but I guess too much can backfire. So take it easy for a while and hopefully you'll feel better.

Buffus,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm trying to do as little as possible, particularly today-since I have to take care of some important stuff tomorrow. I'm
holding up. I'm going to begin work once again on some new artwork-the last attempt didn't work out as I'd hoped, so I'm going to try a
different angle. If you haven't seen my artwork, stop by my MySpace page by clicking on my banner.
Saul, hmmm, there was a poster back on the old nutforum by the name of Saul but whose handle at the moment escapes me - he was also in New York - are you that
self-same poster?
I lost my Dad in April 2005 - loss is always hard - some circumstances are worse than others but it's all hard.
I saw your post at Talking Xena about Maria - you are a good friend.
Cheers,

Hi Starwalker!
I am SO sorry I didn't respond to these PMs-life has been nothing short of BRUTAL these last few months. Yeah-Maria was going through a rough time after
the loss of her father, but she seems to be coming to terms with it.
Sadly, I may not have internet service within a month or so-I'm not sure I'll be able to raise the money. I'll keep folks posted.
